How Saachii collects, uses and protects your data, and the cookies we use.
This Privacy & Cookies Policy explains how Saachii Studios & Wellness Rooms handles your personal data and uses cookies on saachii.co.uk. We keep non-essential analytics switched off until you choose, store analytics data in the EU, and never collect health or patient data through this site.
Saachii Studios & Wellness Rooms (“Saachii”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides salon studios, salon suites and wellness, beauty and treatment rooms to hire for independent professionals in London and across the UK. For the personal data described in this policy, Saachii is the data controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Data Protection Officer is Vikas Vaghasiya. For general enquiries, contact info@saachii.co.uk.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through the saachii.co.uk website, why we collect it, the lawful bases we rely on, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It also describes the cookies and similar technologies we use and how you can control them. It does not cover the independent practitioners listed in our directory, who are separate data controllers for the client data they handle.
Information you give us.When you submit a studio, wellness or register-interest enquiry, or otherwise contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, business or profession, and the content of your enquiry.
Directory information. If you are a professional listed in our public directory, we process the business details you or your team provide for the listing (name, profession, photo, locations and public contact details).
Technical and usage information. When you visit the site we may collect your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, the pages you view and how you navigate between them. Where this involves non-essential analytics, it is only collected after you consent (see sections 5–7).
We use your information to respond to enquiries and register-interest requests, to provide and administer studio and room hire, to operate the professionals directory, to keep the site secure, and to understand and improve how the site is used. Our lawful bases under Article 6(1) UK GDPR are: contractual necessity (to take steps at your request before entering, or to perform, a hire agreement); legitimate interests (to run, secure and improve our site and business, and to respond to enquiries); and consent (for non-essential analytics cookies and any session recording, which you can withdraw at any time).
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We keep non-essential technologies switched off until you make a choice in our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the cookie settings control on the site. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. The categories we use are:
Strictly necessary— remembers your cookie choice and keeps the site working. Always on; no consent required.
Analytics & performance— PostHog and Google Analytics, used to understand how the site is found and used so we can improve it. Off until you consent.
Session recording— optional PostHog session replay of on-site interactions (clicks, scrolling) to diagnose usability issues. Off until you separately consent, and never enabled by default.
We use PostHog for product analytics, configured so that event data is processed and stored in the European Union. No analytics data of any kind is collected until you make a consent choice. We also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SK24F88HR4), which loads only after you accept analytics cookies; IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use analytics to make automated decisions about you and we do not sell your personal data.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and reopen the cookie settings at any time to change your decision. Withdrawing consent stops further optional collection but does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though strictly necessary storage is needed for the site to function correctly.
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the site and our business, under appropriate data-processing terms: PostHog (analytics; EU region), Google Analytics (analytics), our hosting and infrastructure providers, and our email deliveryprovider for enquiry responses. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users or others. Pages that embed third-party content such as maps may set their own cookies, governed by that provider’s policy.
PostHog analytics data is stored in the EU, so no international transfer is involved for it. Where a provider (such as Google Analytics or our email provider) processes data outside the UK/EEA, that transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum.
We keep enquiry and register-interest correspondence for up to 2 years from your last contact, unless a hire agreement or legal obligation requires longer. Analytics events are retained for up to 12 months and any session recordings for up to 1 month, after which they are deleted. Directory information is kept for as long as the listing is active.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Analytics data is held in PostHog’s EU data centres and information you submit is stored on secure systems. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data; to have it corrected or erased; to restrict or object to processing (including the analytics described above); to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact our DPO Vikas Vaghasiya at info@saachii.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Professionals and teams listed in the Saachii directory are independent, self-employed businesses and are separate data controllers for the client and treatment data they handle. Saachii provides the workspace and the listing only and is not responsible for their data practices. Bookings and enquiries you make directly with a listed professional are governed by that professional’s own privacy arrangements.
Our site and services are directed at professionals and businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always appear on this page. Questions, requests or complaints about privacy and cookies should be sent to our Data Protection Officer, Vikas Vaghasiya, at info@saachii.co.uk. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
